Assistant Finance Manager

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • In charge of Individual/Group business payment/receipt, checking daily reconciliation and fixing production issues.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliation on the monthly basis.
  • Work closely with business to support new products launch and enhancement
  • Maintaining fixed asset register by identifying the capex booking from vendor invoices
  • Oversee management expenses and staff reimbursement, and maintaining COA
  • Assisting in credit control and cash flow management functions
  • Involved in ad hoc projects

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (eg: ACCA)  with at least 2 years
  • Knowledge of applicable accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Good knowledge of Sun accounting system
  • Sound understanding of IT knowledge
  • High personal levels of motivation and delivery orientated focus
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, Well-organised and systematic
  • Background, experience and significant knowledge of the Insurance industry and insurance accounting
  • Ability to liaise with and work across departments in order to achieve best outcomes for the business and customer
  • Knowledge and experience of best practice within industry to consistently improve delivery within department
