Important Note

You’ll need to prepare these documents

1. Meanwhile, prepare the following documents

  • Copy of Death Certificate
  • Copy of Deceased Attending Doctor’s Statement
  • Copy of Letter of Administration or Probate
  • Copy of Administrator’s / Beneficiary’s NRIC or Passport

2. Additional documents to prepare if death was accidental:

  • Detailed Post Mortem Report or Toxicology Report
  • Copy of Police Investigation Report

3. Additional documents to prepare if death occurred overseas:

  • Confirmation letter from National Registration of Singapore
  • Copy of Burial Certificate or Cremation Documentation (if death and burial is outside of Singapore)

All relevant documents issued by Foreign Authority which must be certified by Singapore Embassy or Public Notary

If our policyholder passes away during the period of insurance, we’ll pay the death benefit equal to the Sum Insured stated in the policy schedule to his/her beneficiary or estate administrator.

You’ll need to prepare this document

If our policyholder passes away during the period of insurance, we’ll try our best to offer funeral financial assistance to his/her next-of-kin by taking $5,000 from the Sum Insured (as advance payment) and providing it by the next business day.
The remainder of the Sum Insured will be paid after we have assessed the death claim application.


Important Note
  1. The policy automatically terminates when Sum Insured is paid.

  2. In recognition of medical advances, we do not consider AIDS to be a terminal illness.

  3. You must notify us within 90 days from the date the Terminal Illness is diagnosed.

If our policyholder is diagnosed with a Terminal Illness during the period of insurance, we will pay the full benefit equal to the sum insured as stated in the Policy Schedule.


Important Note
  1. The Total and Permanent Disability Benefit ends on the coverage end date, or on the policyholder’s 65th birthday, whichever comes first.

  2. The disability must have continued uninterrupted for at least six consecutive months.

  3. If the Total and Permanent Disability Benefit Sum Insured equals to the Death Benefit Sum Insured, both the Supplementary Plan and the Policy will automatically terminate when we pay the benefit.

  4. If the Total and Permanent Disability Benefit Sum Insured is less than the Death Benefit Sum Insured, the Death Benefit Sum Insured will reduce proportionately and the Supplementary Plan will automatically terminate when we pay the benefit.

  5. You must notify us within 90 days from the date Total and Permanent Disability is diagnosed.

If our policyholder has been certified by a medical practitioner as being completely unable to carry out any job during the period of insurance and before turning 65, we will pay our policyholder the Total and Permanent Disability Benefit Sum Insured stated in the Policy Schedule.


Important Note
  1. All the sections in the Policy including the Supplementary Plan will remain valid after the benefit payment, however the Policy Sum Insured and Supplementary Plan Sum Insured will be reduced proportionately after the policyholder gets the 10% benefit payout, subject to a maximum amount of $25,000.

  2. You must notify us within 90 days from the date the Critical Illness is diagnosed.

If our policyholder first experiences symptoms that may lead him/her to undergo Angioplasty and Other Invasive Treatment for Coronary Artery, while this Supplementary Plan is valid, and a Medical Practitioner subsequently confirms that this treatment is/was necessary, we will pay 10% of the Critical Illness Sum Insured, subject to a maximum amount of $25,000.

  1. If the Critical Illness Benefit Sum Insured equals to the Death Benefit Sum Insured, both the Supplementary Plan and Policy will automatically terminate when we pay the benefit.

  2. If the Critical Illness Benefit Sum Insured is less than the Death Benefit Sum Insured, the Death Benefit Sum Insured will reduce proportionately and the Supplementary Plan will automatically terminate when we pay the benefit.
